This is known as Keratosis Pilaris which is a very common skin disorder seen in many people of all ages. It is a skin condition that appears as numerous small, rough, red, or tan bumps primarily around hair follicles on the cheeks as well as the upper arms, legs and buttocks. Keratosis Pilaris creates a "goose bumps"appearance on the skin. Many people with Keratosis Pilaris may be unaware that the skin condition has a designated medical term or that it is treatable. In general, Keratosis Pilaris is often cosmetically displeasing but medically completely harmless. Keratosis Pilaris is frequently noted in otherwise healthy people.
Although there is no actual cure for Keratosis Pilaris, it can be treated by exfoliating once or twice a week with Pure Scrub and applying Pure Cream daily.
