It is safe for patients to use after most nasal or sinus operations as the nozzle is rounded and smooth.  The nozzle won't hurt or irritate the nostrils or catch on stitches after an operation.

The new nozzle will fit any size nostril comfortably and guarantees more effective rinsing by ensuring that the base of the nostril is closed off in order for the saline rinse not to spill out when the bottle is squeezed.
